My Busy January

I was gone 21 days during the month of January! I don't think Tigger cared that I was gone because she was still getting food and attention. But Bitsey and Copper missed me. Since I have been home, they have been staying close and giving me lots of love.

The first week of January, I joined family for a short cruise to Mexico to celebrate my brother's 5oth birthday. It was the first time I had been on a cruise and thankfully the motion sickness medicine worked!

The biggest percent of my time away was spent in Tennessee with family. It rained most of the time I was there and one day there were snow flurries. I enjoyed visiting with family, looking through old books, photos, family history papers etc. As usual, we enjoyed a meal at the Northshore Brasserie. They have the best French Onion Soup and profiteroles. And of course, no trip anywhere is complete without a visit to the local scrapbook stores. Scrappin in the City is in an old Victorian house complete with fireplaces, wood floors etc. They were very nice and had a great selection of products. And I have to admit that I also visited AC Moore and Joann's!

I had so much fun in January but I missed my cats. I am very thankful for my wonderful family and friends, who not only took care of feeding my cats and scopping litter boxes but they also gave them lots of love and attention.

Sounds like a fun month of activities! But it's always good to be home. Our furbabies miss us when we're gone!

What an exciting sounding trip! That is a long time to be away though and I can only guess your cats were wondering!
