Trying to stay cool!

It's over 100 here today and we are all trying to stay cool. Fortunately for us, it doesn't get this hot very often.

Thank you Pat!

I was the lucky winner of The Rubbermaid's blog candy. She gave me a gift certificate to the online store: Stamp Simply. And my goodies arrived yesterday, I can't wait to try them out!

Journal Challenge

I am trying to catch up. This was the June challenge for our circle journal group. We had to see what we could create using only three pieces of pattern paper (we were allowed unlimited cardstock and embellishments). I used two pieces from Basic Grey's Wisteria line and my third piece of patterned paper was a 12x12 "doily" from Basic Grey. The round box started out in colors that didn't go with my decor, now it does! Then I made four cards with the scraps. The rub-ons are Rusty Pickle, the die cuts are Sizzix and the stickers are Basic Grey. The lavendar cardstock is Bazzill and the teal cardstock is Core'dinations.

Me and my shadows....

Copper has always stayed close to me when I am home, but lately Tigger has joined him. They sit on the back of the couch when I am watching TV, sit beside (or on!) the desk when I am at the computer and wait outside the door when I am in the shower.

Sunday and Sisters

Bitsey and Tigger are litter mates. They are 13 this year and sometimes they get along great like sharing breakfast this morning (and sometimes Bitsey wants nothing to do with her sister!).

Mancat Monday

You can't see it very well in the photos but my silly boy is fascinated by a spider in it's web. The spider was very busy trying to wrap something caught in it's web and was totally oblivious to Copper poking his nose around

Halloween in August!

One of the other vendors from the shop where I sell my vintage items just opened an Etsy store. Carol K. is very talented and will be selling some smaller vintage items as well as her handcrafts.

"Scat Cat" one of the Halloween items Carol has for sale.
