Black Friday Shopping

I avoided the shopping malls and big box stores yesterday. But I did visit a local crafters merchantile. I came home with three adorable handcrafted ornaments and a "cupcake" made in an old jello mold.
How about you? Did you fight the crowds on Black Friday?

Beautiful finds! Our mom says "no way Jose" to Black Friday crowds!

Good to shop locally for goods made locally. As for our house, half our human staff was entertaining visitors and the other half was at Tabby's Place, as usual on Friday mornings.

I went out hehe. Go out every year with my parents, it's a family tradition to fight the crowds. I got all of my shopping finished!

I stay as far away from the shopping as possible. I worked in retail & remember being on the "other side" - that's why I have a hard time listening to people complain & be down right rude when they are standing in those long lines!! THEY CHOSE to be there!!!
What fun treasure you found though!

No shopping here - well, unless you count online shopping...

Oh, you reminded me of all of the boutiques I used to go to at Christmas time. Several years ago, we had a few really great ones that were so worth going to.

What gorgeous finds! I steer clear of all stores on Black Friday - too much of a mess for me. My only stops were a Christmas tree farm, Starbucks drive thru, and the movies (The Blind Side - so good!). I did do a little in store and online shopping on Cyber Monday though. :)
