Oh beautiful for spacious skies.....

As always when I take a road trip, I am in awe of the beauty of our land. Living in a large urban area starts to make me feel like everything, everywhere is covered with parking lots and shopping centers so taking road trips reminds me of how many miles and miles of our beautiful country are not developed. As we were driving through Idaho and Oregon on our way home, I took lots of photos. Here are a two of my favorites:

I was amazed at the dramatic changes of scenery through Nevada. It seemed like every few miles it changed; green grass, sage brush, sand, green hills, rocky hills....

Oh wow! I can see you like to take photos on trips like I do! As for the covered bridges, there was a magazine of what to do in Oregon and it listed the bridges and I guess there is a visitor center in Albany about them and a map. We just kept asking local people where to go and they were very willing to tell us.

Those mountains are very pretty! We do not have any mountains where I live, and we miss that.
