Okay, now imagine thousands of these cards full of buttons and you will get an idea of what I saw at my first ever button show! Vendors had buttons and other goodies for sale. There were containers full of "poke" buttons (you poke around for what you want!) and box after box of cards with buttons. They weren't selling them by the card either, you bought just a button or two off the card. I was totally overwhelmed and I realized that the buttons I have are the Walmart version! No comparison to the intricate, beautiful handpainted, handcarved, antique, French, glass.......buttons I saw on display.

Wow - lots and LOTS of buttons lol! They are beautiful. I also liked craft stores that had the bins you could dig around in for buttons... so I can only imagine what it must have been like there.
Love you!
(by the way I'm sending you an email)
What fun photos!! Sounds like you had a great time!
Holy mole, I've never even heard of a button show! How fun!
