Vintage Thingies

Here are a few kitchen items I had the privilege to inherit from my husband's grandmother. I have never seen another cracker dish like this one. To see more "Vintage Thingies" check out Colorado Lady's blog.

  1. That is a very cute cracker dish...I've never seen one like it either. How nice that you received these from your husband's grandmother and they get to stay in the family.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  6. These are all just charming---the cracker dish, especially. He even resembles the "Campbell Kids" soup bowls I had when I was a child.

  8. The cracker dish is so cute, I have never seen one. Now, those Red Riding Hood salt and peppers are another story. I have wanted a set of these for so long, and they are just so darn expensive when I do see them, even on e-bay. Cherish them!

  9. Love your cracker boy. It's always interesting when you have two pieces the same (salt & pepper?) that show they were handpainted by the differences in their features.

  15. The red riding hoods are just like the cookie jar my mother in law had. They can be very valuable if they are certain brands. I am not sure which one of course but you are probably aware already. They are so beautiful.
